Bruno and I will be walking in the Strut Your Mutt annual dog walk fundraiser for the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter.
They are a local non-profit organization that cares for homeless, unwanted, abandoned, and abused domestic animals. Their mission is to improve the life and welfare for domestic animals and to provide a safe haven while finding lifelong homes for the animals in their care. They embrace the no-kill philosophy which seeks to end the euthanasia of healthy and treatable animals.
